| Goskand is such a great find on the south side of Chicago. this is a family owned and operated ski shop. The owners are very nice and super helpful. We started out renting skis from them five years ago, then bought used skis, and have now returned to buy some new items also. I highly recommend them if you looking to rent or buy skis. They even rent for the season at very reasonable prices. |

Went to their website and saw they have discount ski gear and rentals are cheaper from other. If you pick up after 4 pm, it does not count as a ski day. If you drop off next day before 2 pm, it does not count as a ski day. Keep that in mind when you pick up and drop off.
We were measured for snowboarding boots and boards and the guys quickly assembled our bindings and we were out the door.
Two days later, we returned and swapped our snowboarding gear for skis and ski boots! We signed new waivers and they measured us again for ski boots, skis and poles at no extra charge.
They have also some very nice brand apparel and accessories for sale. Bathroom is clean. Parking is plentiful. And the shop hours are great!
Overall, it’s a great ski shop. The mountains are calling and I must go …

Very knowledgeable staff and willing to spend the time to educate as required. You can only get this type of service at a family owned business. They sold me what I needed and didn’t try to oversell or overcharge. Love my skiing, love this place.

21/01/2018. Melissa B. Palos Hills IL. Really good ski shop, the guys really kno their stuff and the customer service is outstanding. What a great experience! My husband and daughter started skiing last January and we went here last weekend to check out gear for my husband for the up coming season. The staff is very knowledgable and extremely helpful. We found out that they rent equipment as well. Our daughter is still growing so we didn’t want to invest in personal gear quite yet. We were able to give them her height and weight and when it’s closer to ski time she can get fitted to rental equipment just for her.
10/23/2018. Stephanie K. Chicago. Great place, very good customer service. They sell everything for skis and snowboards (and soccer during summer), but it seems the main focus is skis. This past autumn I dropped close to a grand for skis, and they gave me a pretty big discount and free mounting. Has a nice local feel to it. Great selection of skis and accessories.
I have been here a few times always a pleasure to come great prices family owned. I only go for the Futbol jerseys bought a few in the past years for me and my dad but looks like a great ski store also i am going to buy my winter coat here this winter ! Świetnie !!!

Midway is soooo lucky to have such a wonderful sporting goods store!! Owned by the sweetest Polish man in town! Goskand is WELL known for their ample supply of skiing/snowboarding, which is their main attraction BUT they have everything else you can think of….They’ve been supplying me throughout the years with all my new sporting endeavours…volleyball, softball, snowbarding, and basketball!
