Anti-Fog Coating:This lens have an Anti-Fog coating on them to help prevent the goggles from fogging as to not ruin your day of skiing.
Grip strap:The strap on these goggles has a silicone band on the inside that grips helmets, hats, or hair so they don’t slide around and fall off. It is so effective that it makes goggle clips on helmets obsolete.
Polarized Lens:Polarized Lenses are designed to reduce glare caused by light reflected from polarizing surfaces such as snow. Polarized lenses are beneficial in all situations, but specifically useful in sunny, bright light.
Giro Lifetime Warranty:Yes, you read correctly. Giro stands by their product and will warranty any manufacturer’s defects for the lifespan of the product. Pretty sweet deal, especially for goggles and helmets.
Triple Face Foam:Triple face foam is a three part system that gives the rider a plush contact layer against the face, a super soft middle later that allows maximum contour, and a durable back layer that adheres to the goggle frame.
Injection Molded Cylindrical Lens:Injection molding a cylindrical lens helps refine optics and minimize distortion that can occur in thermo formed cylindrical lenses. We offer a full range of performance-engineered lens tints and mirror coatings that help to enhance your vision and every lens is protected by a durable hard coating that resists scratches.
Optics by Carl Zeiss:With over 150 years of experience, Carl Zeiss is the authority in quality optics, and Giro continues to uphold the strictest standards in optical clarity thanks to lenses featuring Optics by Carl Zeiss Vision.
Helmet compatible:The strap is longer to fit around helmets, as well as hats, without stretching it to the max. Helmet compatible goggles also try to place the adjustment clips off center to not interfere with goggle clips that are on the back of most helmets. The shape of the frame also sits well with most brands of helmets.
