Our collection mostly originates from the snowy climates of the northern US states inhabited by Scandinavian people. Due to their rustic look, the vintage skis displayed here can add to the appeal of virtually any room. These are a beautiful pair of 1940’s skis hardwood which are complete and in very good condition. The wood was not restored as its worn state shows so much history of being used. These are great examples of early-made skis. This is a rare collectible pair of true vintage skis from a German family.

Northland Ski Manufacturing Company, St. Paul, MN, 1912-1945. Northland skis soon gained a widespread reputation for unsurpassed quality, making Northland the largest ski manufacturer in the world.

Northland Ski of St Paul Minnesota made some of the best skis back in the day. Decorate your ski lodge with these awesome skis or gift your favorite ski collector these great skis. Skis were mostly sold in hardware stores and places like Sears.

The prototype of the Kandahar bindings, the ones, was developed by two brothers, Swiss Guido and Henryk Reuge in 1927. In 1932, this solution was patented as suitable for downhill and slalom, telemark, touring, cross-country, and jumping.
