Vintage 1935 – 1940 wooden Speeder snow skis, 76″ long. The condition is beautiful; has great old patina finish. Kandahar metal bindings. These skis were made without metal edges.

The prototype of the Kandahar bindings, the “real” ones, was developed by two brothers, Swiss Guido and Henryk Reuge in 1927. In 1932, this solution was patented as suitable for downhill and slalom, telemark, touring, cross-country and jumping.

This vintage antique wood snow skis are a unique addition to any collection. The skis come from a Norwegian family. Hand-made around 1919. The bindings are worn out from age. The ski has a length of 60 inches.

Here is pair of very old handmade skis which we discovered in the attic of my grandfather’s house. This pair of very rustic homestead skis were mainly used for getting around the hilly farm land. These skis were made without bindings and metal edges.

Antique 78-inch Northland Winter Wooden Snow Skis with metal bindings. Sale $245.00

These Northland Monarch downhill skis are in used condition. They have original labels and metal Northland cable bindings runaway still intact. Metal edges confirm their 1940s heritage. These have the great “Northland logo” on the skis, and the competition models had the unique blue plastic under the footpad. These 1940s military skis are a scarce find.
