Our Universal Swix wax – is a multi use hot wax to be used for all snow conditions and temperatures. It’s also ideal for protecting your bases.
Regular servicing of your skis & snowboard will ensure all-around safe, performance, and fun skiing. Edge sharpening will improve the carving turn and increase edge hold on hard or packed ice. Damage to the base of the skis should be repaired so as to prevent de-lamination due to water penetration, while base preparation and waxing will reduce friction and improve the glide making the whole skiing experience easier and more enjoyable.
We strongly recommend that on your ski trip you should wax your skis daily with liquid wax. Have your skis serviced once for every week you ski and that they are retired gracefully for the off-season with a summer wax.
Even if you don’t have your own skis we suggest you take a portable wax with you on your vacation. Hire skis in the resort to see a lot of mileage and the use of an easy-to-carry liquid or rub-on wax will greatly improve their ski-ability and increase your sense of fun.
For those of you that enjoy the intricacies of servicing your own skis, we stock a range of hot waxes, irons, edge sharpeners, scrapers, base repair sticks, etc. and we can order any more specific items that you may require to fully kit yourself out.

Simply get in touch either via phone or come in-store and we can discuss your requirements. Having a chat is always a recommendation as it’s easier to gauge quickly what you need! No appointment is necessary.
All of our servicing is done ON SITE in our fully equipped ski & snowboard servicing workshop with quick turnaround times.
At peak times eg half term this can be a bit longer., So please check and/or get them to us as early as possible.
Now service upgraded with a Wintersteiger servicing machine.
We also offer Ski Boot Heat Moulding Servicing for only $15 per pair.
We will also check that they are safe to use for your next trip.
